TBOSS OSS/BSS system
TBOSS from Emeldi is a next-generation service provisioning controller for Broadband, Wireline, Mobile, and Multimedia Communications Service Providers.
Hugely functional; yet simple to deploy. Built to Communications Industry Standards on the hugely successful Enterprise Java Platform, TBOSS delivers the mix of flexibility and robustness that your mission-critical ordering and provisioning processes demand.
Whether you need to provision Broadband / ADSL, Mobile Services, or a convergent bundle featuring all of these, TBOSS makes it a snap.
Business Process Modelling
TBOSS includes an integrated set of process-modelling tools, and a truly flexible products and services catalog, which combine to allow you to design and implement any form of:
- Product / Service Bundling
…that one can dream up.
Product & Service Catalogue
The Product / Services Catalogue is an extremely powerful component that sits at the centre of the TBOSS business architecture. It is much more than a collection of business entity definitions. It covers data relating to templating, associations and dependencies, and behaviours.
The TBOSS BPM Engine allows you to control complex and long-term business processes:started by the product ordering, through provisioning of the product components and finally billing. We support inheritance of workflows and dynamic injection of sub-workflows for easy workflow definition and maintenance. Automatic versioning allows you to re-define workflows even when there are running instances. The deploying of workflows was never so easy as now in TBOSS: you can do it by the hot-deployer while the application is running-and without any outage.
An agent is an encapsulation of process logic in charge of a target service provisioning or network management system dedicated to it. Agents are robust and flexible Java-based components with access to all the features of TBOSS. There are no limitations to what an agent can provision. TBOSS includes a host of pre-built agents designed for provisioning all major service types. In a Broadband environment, for example, agents may provision any or all of : ADSL, IPTV, IP VPN, Server Hosting, E-mail, Web Hosting, Antivirus software, Fixed IP addresses, modems, and Dial-up internet access services.
The TBOSS Provisioning Broker is a modular framework for the distribution of Order Management data to target Service Provisioning platforms. The Provisioning Broker manages the execution of agents based upon a service routing configuration. Agent execution management and configuration is one of the services inherent in the core process framework. The broker oversees the technical provisioning sub-process in parallel with the order processing process. Any performance or availability problems on an integrated target provisioning or network management system will have no impact on order capturing. The Provisioning Broker is the point at which product orders are transformed into specific technical service provisioning requests.
